Great Show....terrible venue
Rzeznik, who was doing a bit of panting himself in the 90 degree heat, had the ladies. Switchfoot is arguably one of the best live bands around and Sunday was no exception. The only question I have is why would you let the bass player sing a few songs. Pure Prairie League were back in form Sunday night playing a steady stream of sing along hits and new material. He is terrible. Otherwise, stellar performance.
The venue- The 1-800 SUE Your Neighbor Amphitheatre SUCKS. These wimpy...picked on in the playground....security dweebs make the whole experience a little sterile. Let people have fun and step in if someone steps out of line. I had my teenage kids with me and want a safe environment. The sound is muddy and the security is WAY OUT OF CONTROL. Not if they stand a centimeter in the aisle.
